We Assess.Before setting up your Personal Training program we like to take you through a very thorough assessment when you start with us. Basically, the better we know you, the better equipped we are to meet your individual needs in your Personal Training and Therapeutic Massage. We’ll cover things like medical history, goal setting, postural analysis, & fitness testing. It provides us with a starting point, so in future we’ll be able to track your progress. Being able to see your progress in black and white is a great motivator! The assessment process also gives you a chance to reflect on your own aspirations & how you will accomplish these. If we suspect a health issue outside our area of expertise we will suggest one of our trusted affiliate practitioners. We Support.Whether you’re coming to see us for therapeutic massage or personal training, we respect your individuality. The program & schedule we design for you are tailored to your needs and take into consideration any restrictions you may have. Your program & exercise schedule will be updated regularly to ensure you keep progressing and enjoying. Functional exercise utilises your body’s natural movement patterns throughout your workout. Your body is designed to work as a whole. Isolating small body parts when exercising, while sometimes useful for re-habilitation purposes, is generally not an effective use of your exercise time. Using your body’s natural movement patterns means you’ll be working all your large muscle groups, giving you a cardio-vascular as well as resistance training element to your work-outs. This means you enjoy maximum benefits from your Personal Training program. Functional training also teaches your body to move efficiently and safely, reducing your risk of injury or re-injury. Integrative. Holistic.At One on One Health we believe that you are a whole, interconnected being.
